Up for auction is a b eautiful 17-inch tall porcelain doll, dressed in a red velveteen Victorian Christmas outfit complete with matching hat, lace-up boots, and doll stand. This adorable cloth-bodied charmer has a hand-crafted porcelain face and hands.  Her face, including her rosy cheeks, cute rosebud mouth and eyebrows, all have been hand-painted.  Striking against her porcelain complexion are her blue eyes complete with real eyelashes, and her blond hair which is styled in a seemingly endless cascade of curly ringlets falls to her shoulders and down her back.  Doll measures approximately 17" from the top of her head to the tip of her toes.  She's dressed in a red velveteen Victorian coat with matching cape that's edged all around in white faux fur and is tied under the doll's chin with four golden cords.   Under her coat she wears a white satin gown that's been overlaid with a white and gold thread lace fabric which also has a white netted under-slip.    Under her dress, she's wearing a pair of white, lace-trimmed pantaloons, a pair of white stockings, and red lace-up shoe/boots. On her head she wears a saucy beret made from the same red velveteen material as her coat that has been embellished with gold metallic ribbon trim and small faux pearl and gold-toned decorative button.  As if she wasn't adorable enough already, she's also wearing a wrist corsage of red and gold silk roses that have been tied with a golden cord.   Just too cute for words! Doll is in excellent, never-played with condition.  Unfortunately her name/maker is unknown and there's no box or COA included though she does  come complete with a good quality, adjustable, white metal doll stand so she can easily be put proudly on display. A beautiful doll to display during the holidays or give as a gift.   Whether you keep her to enjoy or delight another, you'll love her Victorian style and charm!
