Seller: juiceantiques1952 (403) 99.2%, Location: Harveys Lake, Pennsylvania, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 252662187156 For sale is the above pictured, 1870s-1880s era lock. Unfortunately, it is frozen up, meaning the parts do not move due to heavy rusting. This is a survivor however. It is very heavy, the body is made of cast iron, its internal components appear to be brass, the locking mechanism is brass, the 2 toggle switches in a sense (don;t know the proper name) on the front side are made of brass. The backside has a key hole opening for a big antique type key. Sadly, there is no key. Again, this is heavily rusted, parts are frozen up, but this can be restored via electrolysis. I used a bottle of water for scale purposes. Please feel free to ask any questions. There really are no other locks on here from the Victorian Era/Gilded Age. Thanks for looking! If you know anything about this lock, please feel free to message me and tell me. Material: Brass
