A couple of years ago I needed a new welder in a pinch as mine died in the middle of a job. I called Phil and his team who stayed open so that I would have time to travel and collect a 250A Mig welder. Two years later it's been absolutely flawless and welds brilliantly. So I set-up  the welder and began welding all different types of joint in thin steel sheet. It was  almost dark when I turned off the machine lol. You know how it is, you get giddy  playing with you're machine and before you know it, there's a voice looming from  the cool dusk air "David! stop that bloody welding, your suppers ready!", ah the  blessed voice of ones angel..haha.  This welder is without doubt the finest machine I've ever used, especially on thin  sheet steel, I would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, that  a MIG of all things could weld two thin pieces of sheet on its ends. It has renewed  my faith in MIG welding, I can now see a brighter future with my new toy :)  Thanks Phil for your effort in maintaining the notion that we in this country can still produce the  best welding machines. Your dedication and commitment to making such an  excellent product at an affordable price leaves me speechless.  Dave  I bought a Warrior 250A MIG from Phil at the beginning of February and everything arrived promptly and securely packed, along with an offer from Phil for all the telephone help I needed. I’m a ‘hobby welder’ although, with a big boat (52ft) undergoing completion plus friends with big boats (trawlers), this can amount to quite a bit of welding. This welder runs beautifully with lovely welds and negligible spatter. Zero ‘help’ phone calls were required. I’ve used it on steel from thin plate (3mm) right up to attaching 20mm end plates to 5mm walled 4½ inch tube plus assorted items in the 12 -15mm range. I switched from ‘stick’ welding to MIG as I tend to get everything galvanised and any traces of flux from ‘stick’ welding doesn’t take galvanising, leaving unprotected patches. I‘m a (recently) retired industrial chemist who used to have his own company MIG welder for stainless prototyping and development. It was a well known make but a ‘pig’ to use. This Warrior welder is a joy to use. My brother-in-law (recently finished a TIG course) gave it a test run and also pronounced it excellent. The lads with the garage next to my boat storage requested help as their welder had broken down so I lent them the Warrior until their replacement part came. They were full of praise for the Warrior and vowed to replace their welder ASAP, despite it back running after repair, as they now know how a good welder should perform. Theirs was the same make as my ‘pig’. Ah well, at least the company was consistent. I'm concerned my welder is getting a little lonely so I think I’ll give it company by buying a plasma cutter from Phil. Cutting 12 or 15m steel with an angle grinder is becoming a ‘pain’ (generally ‘in the ear’ from my wife). I’ll post how that goes.
