Description

This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.

It is made of oak and is currently painted.

It was originally in the Master Bedroom as a face to a his and hers closet front with a built in vanity in the center .

The center section was backed with a mirror (missing) with a marble vanity below (marble broken).

There is a cabinet and 2 drawers below the vanity.

To either side are doors to access the closets.

These each have 9 raised panels.

The tops have beaded moldings and spindle galleries.

It would make a great linen cabinet, butlers pantry, back bar or closet.

It measures 104.5 inches wide, by 99.5 tall.  It is 21 inches deep.

It disassembles to load into a van or pick up truck.

The closet areas have no backs or sides as it was built into a recess.

Overall, it is in good condition.  There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique.  It could use a good cleaning but will clean up nicely. There is a small loss at the top of the left pediment. There are chips at a couple of the hinges.  Please look at the pictures carefully.

Terms of Sale

I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.

About Us

My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting.  Steve and Michelle
