1960's AMAZING SPIDERMAN STEVE DITKO ART ORIGINAL POSTER ART PRINT MARVEL COMICS

This is the very rare 1960's Amazing Spider-Man poster print. This is one of the earliest Silver Age officially licensed Marvel Spidey items. It measures approximately 12" by 16 1/8", and features a truly classic full-body pinup image of the web-slinger, with artwork by one of the greatest of all-time, Steve Ditko! Ditko is a true legend, obviously best known for his classic 60's Marvel work, where he co-created the Amazing Spiderman and Dr. Strange with Stan Lee, and this is arguably one of his most memorable images of Peter Parker in costume. It is overall in good condition, particularly considering its age (more than 50 years old!), but please note it does have wear that needs to be noted. There are pinholes in all 4 corners, and the piece also has a fair amount of crease wear, mostly on the right side. You should be able to see some of the creasing in the scan, but it is a little heavier on the actual paper than what came out in the scan, so please be aware of this. There is heavy crease wear in the areas of the top right side and bottom right side in the white border areas, and also a heavy 3" crease that goes into the first few fingers of Spidey's left hand near the lower/middle right side of the piece. There are also a few small smudge stain marks that you can see in the scan. The main image is still very nice, with sharp vibrant colors, and if the piece were matted, would display nicely. This is an outstanding collectible piece that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and is a must-have for the collection of any serious Marvel Comics or Spiderman fan.
