Description Roman candlestick glass unguentarium. A tall Roman pale green-blue glass unguentarium (known as the candlestick type). The long tubular neck tapers to a folded-over wide disk rim above, merging below into a bulbous body, standing on a flattened base with an inverted centre. Height 14 cms (5.5 ins). Condition: Complete and intact; good clear glass with encrustations. Roman eastern empire: Circa 2nd-3rd century AD.
