Missing, damaged and repaired resoldered parts with dings, dents, scratches and scrapes; and there are age cracks to the wooden handle too. The wick slide is intact, and does slide up and down with effort, mostly along the lower third part of the rod, but it appears that a long portion of the original waxy wick is still in the channel. You will still need to do some modifications and repairs if you want this in its original working condition; however, it still works beautifully well as a simple snuffer for your lit candles on high!
