The purpose of these crosses varies according to who you ask. This cross is particularly well artistically detailed. The diamond-shaped extensions at the bottom are actually three-dimensional, fatter than the flat metal of the rest of the cross (except for the horizontal strap around the neck). The cross is signed on the back. There is a loop for hanging the cross as a pendant at the top. The cross is 4" tall and 2 1/4" wide and weighs one ounce.
