BERNETTE (FOR BERNINA) CHICAGO 7 SUBLIME SEWING/EMBROIDERY MACHINE COMBO. These machines are sold as new, but perhaps were used in sales demonstrations or were showcased in a trade show. Sold in original box with BONUS rolling case. Each machine is removed from the box, inspected, test sewn, and repackaged prior to shipment. Machines are from 2015 model year. The Bernette line was developed in honor of Odette Ueltschi-Gegauf, daughter of Fritz Gegauf, founder of the Bernina brand. The name being a combination of both Bernina and Odette. Bernette models are extremely well equipped and excellent value for the money. Design, ergonomics, technology you can trust, and ease of use make the Bernette line of machines an excellent choice. ALSO INCLUDES A GREAT ROLLING CASE THAT FITS MACHINE AND MODULE! 1) Can this machine connect directly from computer to embroidery machine? NO. Designs can only be transferred using a USB stick. Designs MUST be in .EXP format only. 2) What computers are compatible with this embroidery machine? Any computer that has a CD drive or internet connection would work, IF the computer (and user) have the ability to transfer designs (in .EXP format only) onto the above mentioned USB stick. 3) Are larger hoops available for this machine? NO. The largest hoop size that works with this machine is 5 x 7 inches. Interestingly, 2 smaller hoops are available. 30 day return policy if item does not work/is not as described. We need to be notified in writing with specific defect(s) noted within 14 day if buyer intends to return machine. We do charge a restocking fee if we find machine works, but customer has changed their mind. That said, we also offer a 180 day parts and labor warranty; buyer pays shipping back to our shop in Michigan. We open each box, inspect the machine, thread it, test it, sew on it, repack it for safe delivery. Both boxes are shipped FEDEX Home Ground and we pick up the charges! We typically ship within 1 day of payment in full and we do ship internationally. However, machines are NOT dual voltage and may not be compatible with all systems.
