BRIEF BRAND HISTORY


In 1967, specially commissioned by the USSR Navy at the Chistopolis watch factory "Vostok" were made the first watches "Amphibia", which became the iconic product of the time.


Amphibia" watches flawlessly worked at depths of up to 200 meters in conditions of significant temperature and pressure fluctuations.


In the 1970s, together with the Ministry of Instrumentation, Automation and Control Systems, GLAVCHASPROM began to produce special wrist watches designed for work underwater at depths of up to 300 meters - wrist diver watches.


In 1975, the Amphibia watch went into space as part of the first expedition to the Salyut-4 space station in the Soyuz-17 spacecraft. The watch was part of the equipment of the station's flight engineer Georgiy Mikhailovich Grechko. The flight lasted 29 days.
