This is a footed glass console bowl with two elephants that serve as both candle holders and handles.  The candle cups are just about 1" at the openings. As far as it's origin - bowls in this form were produced by Westmoreland glass and Summit Art Glass.  Due to that it is unmarked, I would lean that it came from Summit, but admittedly I am not 100% sure.  The glass looks black until you get it near some light, and then you can clearly see the deep amethyst coming through.  There is no damage to point out, but I do see a line 2" "scratch" in the center of the bowl. Very interesting and eye-catching centerpiece!

Measures approx. 5.5" in height, Top 8" in diameter without Elephants, each Elephant is 3.5" in height, Base 4.5" in diameter
