Description: Mandau sword of dayak tribe, complete with it`s smaller knife "piso raut". Thick & sturdy traditionally forged blade with typical mandau blade shape which has concave / convex surface , detailing is absolutely incredible on scabbard with approx. 60 teeth including some very long sharp teeth measuring over 3". Lots of animal hair placed evenly all over scabbard and on the ends of knives. This has all the bells and whistles. Incredible carved and painted antler horn detailing in the sword end is a collectible in and of itself. Wooden scabbard nicely wrap by rattan weaving, there are a small "pocket" on scabbard backside for piso raut.
