Coleco HTF Rare!. I am not sure what to make of this doll as she is unusual and HTF. I believe that the HM 19 with the open mouth and teeth is one of the rarer head molds, but I cannot match her clothes or body markings (KT Factory Original Appalachian Artworks Coleco with lilac colored butt stamp) to any other similar doll and I searched for quite a bit. The similar ones that I can find are marked with a pink butt stamp and Hasbro tags. She has a light purple or lilac stamp on her butt which I cannot reconcile with the dates that CPK collector sites are giving for the Coleco dolls. This came in a lot of dolls and had a bunch of paperwork all mixed up. I THINK from this may be the birth certificate- it reads "Toddler Kids". Also, her clothes look like they may come from one of the designer lines, but I can only find one example of this exact jumper and it is paired with a different shirt and shoes. These are the clothes that she was in when found, but may not be original to this doll. I REALLY don't know. I am guessing that she is one of the "transitional" dolls that was produced before Hasbro completely took over production. Doll has a normal expected amount of wear from age and loving, some fabric pulls, some age discolorations/stains on body and clothes. I washed all of the clothes and cleaned the doll face and spot washed the body then thoroughly dried in a humidity controlled room. The hands in particular looked dingy, but a targeted spot wash in the sink helped- not perfect as seen in close ups, but decent display as seen in the full photos of redressed doll. No weird smells. Doll had ears pierced which I assume was a custom choice by former owner and NOT original. The jumper overall looks pretty nice for white color vintage doll clothes, but the shirt has a few orange-ish stains that I could not remove. See photos and feel free to ask any questions.
