These plates are exquisite reproductions made from original old molds resulting in a very authentic, antique, yet trendy look. NOTE: UNLIKE SIMILAR CAST IRON PLATES LIKE THESE LISTED ON EBAY THIS DOOR SET IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL, INCLUDES REAL CRYSTAL GLASS KNOBS AND WILL LATCH A DOOR. SEE PICS. This auction includes the hardware noted above for one door. See below for further details on installation. Beautiful door hardware that will make your door look special! I love these; and so will you! I encourage questions before buying; I am no expert, and I want you to be happy with any purchase you make from my store. See notes below. INSTALLATION OPTIONS: On a MODERN door, you will need what's called a "tube latch" (see pic 8), with a SQUARE hole in the latch (some newer tube latches on newer door hardware do not have a square hole); to fit the square spindle (the rod that connects the two door knobs). The tube latch inserts into the edge of the door near the knob holes and then the spindle goes thru the square hole and connects the two knobs, which then will turn the latch. If you have an OLDER door, you may have what's called a "mortise" lock (Pic 9), a slim metal "box" that slides in the edge of the door. The spindle (metal rod connecting the two knobs) goes thru the square hole in the mortise lock, similar to the tube latch operation noted above. Either way, it's very easy and you'll have a lovely, working door! I'll be happy to help you with your installation. Condition: Very good, Color: Green/teal with faint antique gold highlights, Maker: unknown, Material: Cast Iron/vintage crystal glass
