Great antique primitive piece! This spice cabinet has the an antiquated original finish with tons of wear. There are 2 drawers that have some wood missing on the corners, not too much, and you'll be able to see it in the pictures. There were stencils on the drawers, but they have mostly faded. The wood is very old, but it is still sturdy and in good condition overall for it's age. The drawers were constructed with dovetailed joints, dating to the late 1800's. The box features 8 dovetailed drawers, all the same size, at 4 1/4 wide, 4 1/2 deep and 2 3/4 inches tall. The back of the box measures 17 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide. The front measures 13 inches tall and is 5 inches deep. The back has a wonderful lollipop shape with a hole for hanging, but it can stand alone on a counter or shelf as well. All of the drawers have knobs for handles, but some ha ve been replaced so there is mixture of finishes. Shows signs of use and age. Please see pictures.
