Tree of Life  (Àrbol de la Vida):

This beautiful piece* comes straight from the center of Mexico and is signed by one of our Artisan Masters, Mr. Arzaluz. Handpainted bit by bit, this would make a beautiful ornament or gift =). A Tree of Life is a theme of clay sculpture created in central Mexico, especially in the municipality of Metepec, Mexico, where this piece comes from. The image depicted in these sculptures originally was for the teaching of the Biblical story of creation to natives in the early colonial period. Traditionally, these sculptures are supposed to consist of certain biblical images, but recently there have been trees created with themes completely unrelated to the Bible.

Approximate size: 8" tall x 6" wide

**Remember that, being hand crafted and using natural wood, no two hands or pieces of wood are the same, even if they are the same figure, the actual item you get might have minimal differences against the pictures, but it will always be beautiful and personally inspected for your satisfaction =).
