These unique ornaments were mouth blown into a multi-part mold. The seams are concealed to some extent, apparently by handwork. Evidently, these were made in India using original mi;to[artmolds obtained from Kugel works in Germany or Czechoslovakia. The interiors were painted, creating a reflecting outer surface. The spun brass caps are two inches in diameter and one inch tall. The hangers are brass colored wire loops. The caps and hangers are firmly fastened to the ornament. The ornaments are very heavy and must be displayed with a strong attachment. These were purchased at Bloomingdale's in Palm Beach as a collection. Of these ten ornaments, eight are silver. Two of them appear to be silver with a very slight pink highlight. All of these reflect the colors in their surroundings and can barely be told apart. $47.00 each or best offer. Please contact me before you make an offer to buy if you have any questions regarding the color of the ornaments or their condition. These items are being sold as is. The color does not show true in the photographs. They are not pink or gold. Although eBay provides that any item which does not matched to the description may be returned for a refund. I have a 100% rating and do not want to lose that due to a disagreement about the color or condition of these ornaments which are based on my opinions. In addition to the ten ornaments, the original set included two more with significant paint loss inside. For both of these defective ornaments, the imperfection only shows on one side. They have been displayed with that area facing away from the edge and toward the trunk of Christmas tree. Even if that part of the ornament can be seen, it is not easy to distinguish the defect and almost impossible on a decorated tree.  If you are interested in purchasing one or more of these damaged ornaments, you should contact me through the eBay website. I will not sell them outside eBay. A display stand is not included as part of this sale.

  • Condition: Very Good to Excellent Condition. There are no significant signs of wear on the exterior glass, the brass caps are tarnished or scratched to a slight extent. The paint inside these ornaments is almost perfect. Although there are no areas of missing paint there are some areas of extra paint at bottom of the interior. These areas cannot be seen in the manner that these ornaments would be displayed with the point down. Please see the description and photographs.
