G-Force Racing steel transmission crossmembers allow you to run a true dual-exhaust system with most popular GM transmissions. They have a patented double-hump design, so you don't have to compromise ground clearance by running pipes under the crossmember, and they're a complete bolt-on deal--no custom fabricating or realignment is needed. They're made from 2 in. x 3 in. boxed tubing (1/8 in. thick) to handle the frame-twisting power of any drivetrain you can throw at it!

NOTE! 1978-1983 Models require FE100 Frame Extension for the install!

P/N RCG-350 INSTALLATION NOTES:

    ON ALL 78-88 G BODY CROSSMEMBERS, THE PASSENGER SIDE HUMP IS THE TALLER OF THE TWO.

    ON SOME INSTALLATIONS, IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER HEAT SHIELD FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR PAN.

    THIS GENERATION OF VEHICLE IS PRONE TO BODY BUSHING COMPRESSION, EVEN WITH SOME SOUTHERN VEHICLES. IF THE FLOOR PAN IS TOO CLOSE TO ALLOW INSTALLATION, IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO REPLACE THE BODY BUSHINGS. SOME CUSTOMERS HAVE REPORTED THAT WITH SLIGHT INTERFERENCE INSTANCES, THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GENTLY LIFT THE FLOOR PAN WITH THE ASSIST OF A FLOOR JACK AND A WOOD CUSHION, THUS PROVIDING THE REQUIRED CLEARANCE FOR INSTALLATION.

    THE CROSSMEMBER IS INSTALLED SO THAT THE EXHAUST CLEARANCE HUMPS ARE CLOSED ON THE TOP AND OPEN ON THE BOTTOM.

UPS and FedEx cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, so please provide an alternate ship-to address with your payment.

Please send us a message here on ebay or call us toll free at 1-800-846-4252 Ext. 9 to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number before sending any merchandise back to us. Issued RMA numbers will only be valid for 30 days.

Return requests must be made within 14 days of purchase, and a refund will not be processed until inspected upon return to us. Returns must be in new, resellable condition.

Returned item(s) must be in a shipping box, not shipped in the factory packaged box that the item comes from the factory. If an item is shipped back to us for a return without the original factory supplied box, a 20% re-stocking fee will automatically be applied.

Returns of electrical items must be in "as-new" and still remain factory sealed. A testing and re-stocking fee of at least 20% will apply if the item does not meet these requirements.
