1909 ABC Shell handle with basket weave case. The plating on this one is absolutely phenomenal. The only bit of exposed brass on any of the set is on the top of the handle, which won't be visible when the razor is put together. The flip latch is intact and holds well. The lining is about what you expect from over century year old velvet, but it's far from the worst I've ever seen. The comb teeth are all straight and are the rounded variety that are common to these early pocket editions. The serial number is B210601, Dating it towards the end of the 1909 production year. Absolutely gorgeous silver plating on the case, handle and razor itself, with mirror shined nickel on the blade bank.
The razor, case, and blade bank were boiled and then polished. The fabric covered trays were carefully removed before boiling.
