Jaime Carbo

Jaime Carbo is a plastic/visual artist who has been working in the arts such as painting, sculpting, digital media and music since his youth. He has taken courses in Mexico city in renown schools such as the National Plastic Arts School and Real Academia de San Carlos . He has participated in several exhibitions both collective and individual, and he has been working as an scenic artist for Baja Studios in recent years (mainly doing painting and sculpture). In 2012 he was choose to represent Mexico in China at the Changchun Sculpture symposium where he made a 3 meter tall marble sculpture named "Cihuacoatl" (mother Goddess), see photos below.

Jaime Carbo's painting and sculpture have been recently selected for the State of Baja California Biennal and he is currently exhibiting in the Baja California State Gallery. Also, this year he has opened a gallery/workshop in the Rosarito Beach Hotel named 213 Art Space.
