Item:152445467359Hand loomed Native American Indian 1920's Beaded Belt Colorado. This belt was made and given to my father by a local Indian in the Boulder Colorado area around 1920. He worked on a dude ranch in near Boulder Colorado called the Lazy J Quarter Circle. It has been in my family for almost 100 years. The backing is solid leather. My father didn't store it very well and over the years has become frayed from him taking it out of a cloth bag to show to people. There is one picture which I labeled "GOLD BEADS". My father said the shiny gold colored beads were actual real gold made from nuggets. I don't know that for a fact since they have never been tested. Wes Cowan looked at it and and told me they were not gold??? He gave me a value of $500.00 in the condition it is in now. This is my starting bid. 35 inches long including buckle and the belt itself is 2 inches wide. You are buying AS IS If you have any questions please ask before you bid. Thank you.
