Up for auction is this fantastic set of 5 Haviland Limoges (France)chocolate cups and saucers in Schleiger pattern # 87.  The are in Blank # 1 (also known as the Ransom Blank).  This is an extremely rare set!  They are highlighted by the pink roses on green leafy and thorny stems with blue flowers.  Edges and cup handles are trimmed in gold designs.  Edges also have a raised textured design.  Cups measure about 3 1/2 inches wide, including handles and 3 inches tall.  Saucers measure about 5 inches in diameter.  Fully marked on the backs, in green, "HAVILAND FRANCE" and, in red, "Haviland & Co. Limoges".  These marks date the set from 1894-1931.  Also marked by the Watertown, New York (USA) retailer E.H. Murray.  In very nice condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.  Very minor wear to gold trim (this is extremely minor and only mentioned for complete accuracy!).  A great set in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
