This listing is for 1x NANO FREYA doll manufactured in Asia by Hujoo. This doll is ABS vinyl/plastic, and STRUNG like a traditional ball jointed doll ( bjd ). Freya was designed by Emory Sung of The Junky Spot in 2013. Specifications: Freya features 14 points are articulation for a wide range of motion. She is strung with elastic and features ball joints for smooth posing. Dimensions:
EYES: The head features a removable headcap and will fit 12mm eyes. TAIL AND MAGNETS: Comes with optional tail and magnets for the tail. The magnet that goes inside the tail will need to be glued ito place. We recommend the ZAP CA Glue. There are several ways to attach the tail to the body with the loose magnet: 1) Tape or Glue the loose magnet to the body. Please make sure the correct side is facing out to attract to the tail magnet. 2) Drill a hole into the body and then glue the loose magnet into the hole. 3) Slip the magnet into the lower torso cavity. The tail magnet will "pick up" the magnet through the body and stay on. 4) If you are dressing your Freya, you can also choose to simply slip the magnet inside the pants/skirt. The tail magnet will "pick up" the magnet through the clothing and should stay on.
Customization Tips: We recommend the following tips for customizing vinyl/ABS dolls: 1) Sand seams if desired first. 2) Wash or wipe down the doll in warm water and soap to remove any oils left on the surface of the doll from the manufacturer process, fingers, and etc. Wait for your doll be completely dry. 3) Spray a light coat of an aerosol clear matte/flat varnish. This will give the surface a little "tooth" for the paint and other art materials to stick to. (You will want to test the varnish on a small area first.) 4) Use water based paints only...no inks and no oils. Inks and oils can seep into the vinyl and spread, and can also permanently mark vinyl. Chalk pastels can be ground down and used as blush. Watercolor pencils and artist grade acrylic paints are also very commonly used to do the faceup ( makeup ). 5) Seal the makeup when finished with a couple of light coats of the aerosol clear matte/flat varnish (allow each coat to dry fully between coats). 6) Apply gloss coat via brush if desired to lips, eyes, and any other places that you would like a moist or wet look. 7) Allow to dry, install eyelashes if desired, and now GO OUT AND PLAY WITH YOUR DOLL!
