Kato N-scale Eurostar train set, Item K10327, with display case

Available is a complete N-scale model of an 8-unit Eurostar train set. It is manufactured by Kato under license through their German plant. The model is in excellent condition and comes in its original case which is padded plastic and has a snap closure. There is a descriptive brochure included that gives some info about the prototype as well as a listing of parts should you need additional ones. There is also a small packet of small parts to be added to the locomotives. The two locomotives of the set are powered with the "lead" locomotive being lighted, and the set can be run in either direction as in the prototype situation. The pantographs on the locomotives do raise and lower but do not conduct electricity. The train set runs on standard 12-volt DC, so it is compatible with any standard model transformer unit. The individual cars can be rearranged as desired to make up a shorter consist if preferred.

There are no missing parts or any defects that I can see. I have never run the model, though I was told by the original owner that it had been tested and ran quite well. It has been stored in a warm, dry location in the interim since I had every intent of eventually including it on my layout. However, that has not happened nor is it likely to. As a result, I am making it available to another enthusiast who has desired a set like this for their European layout.
