FEATURES 30" long Outrigger arms attach to your Kayak or Kayak with Scotty 350 Rod Holders and Locking Scotty 241L bases Floats are made of compression molded PVC which are tough, durable, puncture proof and will absolutely not absorb water Pipes are FORMUFIT High Grade PVC Stainless Steel mounting hardware included 4 FOOT long standing assist / docking cord included WHY OURS ARE THE BEST!! We use Scotty's Locking 241L bases which ensure the outriggers will not pop out of place while on the water. Normal 241 bases do not have a locking mechanism. This is extremely important when out on the water. We use High Grade FORMUFIT PVC pipe and fittings on our arms. Not painted Plumbing grade PVC. FORMUFIT PVC is UV resistant against fading and is black all the way thru. Scrapes and scratches won't expose white pipe underneath like others will. FORMUFIT PVC can take a beating, it's 5X stronger than plumbing grade PVC pipe. Its designed to withstand hard hits and won't suffer any cracks or breakage. It's also able to withstand significant load (weight) applied to both fittings and pipe unlike standard plumbing PVC. The included seating assist / docking cord and carabiner makes standing a breeze for any kayaker as well as securing your kayak to a fixed object on land or a dock. Our outrigger floats easily detach for compact storage Our Stabilizer pipes are secured using 2 fasteners per side not just 1 Stainless Steel base mounting hardware & mounting instructions are included **ACCESS TO UNDERNEATH THE MOUNTING BASE LOCATIONS IN YOUR KAYAK IS NECESSARY TO USE THE INCLUDED HARDWARE. IF YOU CANNOT ACCESS THIS AREA, AS WITH SOME SIT ON TOP KAYAK'S, YOU WILL NEED TO USE WELL NUTS FOR MOUNTING. WE OFFER THESE AT AN ADDITIONAL COST** Canoe mounting can be accomplished on either the bow or stern seat.
