Description:       For sale is a used Ernst Leitz Summar 5cm (50mm) f2 lens for Leica thread mount M39. A great collapsible normal lens for Leica thread mount rangefinder cameras. Many people purchase adapters and use this lens on their mirrorless digital cameras. By doing this you can appreciate the quality of vintage optics without  using film.

  • Everything is in working condition. The f-stop focus rings turn smoothly and freely and the lens collapses easily. The aperture blades are free of oil. The lens elements have no  fungus or separation but there is noticeable haze and cleaning marks, enough to affect image quality.
