MINT Grateful Dead Big Mama 1966 BG 41 Fillmore Poster. This is a vintage second print poster (approx. 14" x 22", and printed shortly after the shows by Bill Graham. This is an authorized reprinting of this poster, not a later bootleg/reproduction), promoting a series of show featuring the Grateful Dead, Big Mama Mae Thornton & Tim Rose (original artist on "Hey Joe"). These shows took place December 9-11, 1966 at the historic Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. This classic psychedelic sixties image was designed by Wes Wilson, and is the 41st image in the Bill Graham Fillmore series. This beautiful poster has been very carefully preserved for over forty-five years, and is in EXCELLENT/FLAWLESS condition, and would make a very nice substitute for the much more expensive first print ($750).
