This Tinker Norman sword is available with a sharp, blunt blade. With the characteristic cross-shaped protector and the Brazil nut knob, both versions are similar in terms of weight and balance. The handling is also almost identical. Both are harmoniously balanced. With the sharpened version offered here, cutting capability is optimized.
The blade was forged from 5160 carbon steel and hardened by hot bath hardening (marquenching) to a Rockwell hardness of 50 – 52 HRC. This allows for greater edge resistance. The handle consists of a wooden core wrapped with lace and covered with leather.
Main features: Heat-treated 5160 spring steel (hot bath hardening), riveted knob, Tinker tested.
