3 AZ-THEME LINEN POSTCARD SETS 1930-1941 FEAT. OLD CARS, APACHE, NAVAJO, & HOPI.
This custom set of three Arizona-themed postcards is unique, preserved in near-mint condition, and they’re almost antiques! It features many aspects of the Old West including: Indians(back when it was still politically correct to say that)or Native Americans, old cars, horseback riding, Tonto cliff dwellings, The Grand Canyon, The Painted Desert, cacti, cactus flowers, “The Mittens”, Zoroaster and Colorado Rivers, the “Leap for Life”, The Battleship, El Tovar Hotel, Chiricahua, & much more!
The first postcard, “Arizona: America’s Wonderland” was published in 1941, the latest of the three. The second, “The Beauties of the Desert” is the earliest published/printed in 1930. The third postcard, “Grand Canyon National Park” is published/printed in 1936. All three within this custom set are linen postcard fold-out sets made by Curt Teich & Co., a renowned postcard publisher based in the United States, with origins in the prolifically talented early Germany, and was closed in the 1970s.
