Pre-Columbian Bahia Culture Ceramic Bowl (Olla) or Shoe Jar 500 BC-500 AD Original Antiquity This artifact was found in the foot hills of the Andean Mountains, Ecuador South America.It belongs to the Bahía culture from Salaite, Manabí Provincethat stretches to the Pacific cost.It is in great condition considering it's age, this is a beautiful ceramic bowl (olla),very rare shape (shoe Jar) that shows an early ceramic manifestation.The bowl has a pear or shoe shape and itwas probably used as a drinking vessel; it has not been totally clean, it will be up to the new owner to make that decision.It would be a very good addition to any collection.
