There are traces of red on her lower limbs and ample manganese deposits provide eloquent testimony to prolonged subsoil burial. Her perforated umbilicus ingeniously serves as the vent-hole for this hollow terra-cotta effigy. 5.25” (13.3cm) H. x 3” (7.7cm) W. x 3.5” (9cm) and without chips, cracks, repair or restoration, this rare and beautiful work of ancient ceramic art is in excellent condition.
