This whimsical figure is depicted with an attenuated triangular face, parallel-hatch incised coiffure, prominent nose, nubile breasts, diminutive arms, multiple arm-bracelets, painted necklace, sash and clearly modeled vulva. She stands on four stable tapered supports, details are painted with cream paint over a deep-red burnished slip and ample distribution of manganese deposits attest to prolonged subsurface interment. 9” (22.8cm) high, 6 1/8“ (15.5cm) wide and 2.75” (6.9cm) deep; without repairs or restoration, this rare and remarkable figure is in excellent condition.
