Here is an elaborately-painted and carefully hand-modeled seated nude ceramic figure, posed with arms akimbo,

hands resting on the torso and legs crossed at the ankles. She smiles and her body is painted with complex

brown-on-cream linear, geometric and concentric designs.

 

There are four vent-holes; one at each side of the neck, another serves

as the umbilicus and the fourth opening is located on the figure’s underside.

 

6” (15.2 cm) x 4.5” (11.4 cm) x 4.5”

Despite various slightly abraded areas and minor left foot repair, this compelling figure is in

excellent overall condition.
