Need a special hiding place for your treasured keepsakes? This India Puzzle Box conceals 2 separate compartments. Finding the first isn't too difficult - the horizontal panel on the front of the puzzle box slides to one side, releasing a latch that allows the lid to open. But wait - there's more! The unsuspecting recipient of this puzzle box may not realize there's a second compartment hidden beneath the first. (Slide up the side of the puzzle box.) You may have seen other puzzle boxes from India that were a little....rustic.  This puzzle box was custom designed and crafted in India, and the quality is excellent. The wood is Sheesham, also known as Indian Rosewood, which has been sanded and buffed to a smooth finish.  Sheesham is a dense hardwood with a beautiful wood grain that gives these India Puzzle Boxes a solid, substantial heft.

The lid and all 4 sides of this puzzle box feature a traditional carved vine pattern.  Attractive brass hardware is used for the hinges and locking mechanism, and the lid of the main compartment is lined with velvety soft burgundy fabric.

This India Puzzle Box would make a great additional to your collection, or a fun conversation piece to entertain friends and family.  It would also make a unique gift to be enjoyed by people of all ages.
