He is wearing a long diaphanous garment in Theravadin Buddhist fashion, with the robe folded across the left shoulder, leaving the right shoulder and breast partially uncovered. The end fold of the robe draped gracefully over his shoulder, overlapped and ending in a square knotch at chest level. The face is portrayed in delicate detail, with a serene expression, cheeks are plump, nose prominent, heavy arched eyebrows set above bulging eyes, and exaggerated earlobes rest on his shoulders. His head is covered in graduated sections of hair curls, whorled with open spaces, indicating a thinning effect, both at the top and behind the head. xxxxx Phra Sangkajai (Sangkachai) was a Buddhist Arhat during the time of Lord Buddha.
