Available is a rare Catozzo Regular 8mm Tape Splicer for your film splicing needs. It was made in Italy by the Catozzo company. This splicer is made for Regular 8mm film...also known as Double 8 and Standard 8. If you are looking for a Super-8 splicer, I have one in another auction. This is not a flimsy splicer, it is the hard to find quality made of metal splicer that will last and last. It makes perhaps the best and most accurate splices for the Regular 8mm format. It is in great condition, works well and comes with the factory Instructions and some splicing tape to get you started. More splicing tape is available on E-bay. These types of splicers don't appear on e-bay too often. Because of the ease of use, they are great for film students. Plus this type of splicer is very economical... a new roll of tape is good for a over 150 splices ! ! If you've been looking for a quick, professional, easy to use splicer for yourself or a film student... don't let this pass you by.
