New Razor Control Module for (Razor Crazy Cart, Drifter, Dune Buggy, & Ground Force)

In need of a new control module (AKA controller or ECM) for the Razor Crazy Cart, Ground Force Drifter, Dune Buggy or Ground Force? If your scooter turns on, but doesn't move then the problem is almost always a bad control module or bad throttle,if your batteries have been tested good.. This controller also works with all of these Razor scooters:

• Crazy Cart  (all versions)
• Dune Buggy  (version 12+)
• Ground Force  (version 13+)
• Ground Force Drifter  (version 3+)

The Controller says "Electric Bicycle Controller" and Model # HB2430-TYD6K on it.

Note: Model versions can be determined based on the product ID code on your Razor product. It is a barcode sticker that looks like the image to the left and is typically located on the bottom of the scooter, the steering tube, the battery charger, or on the original box it came in. The 7th and 8th numbers usually between the dashes in your product ID code are the version number of your Razor product. For example, "01" = Version 1, "09" = Version 9, "33" = Version 33, etc.           We charge a 20% Restock fee so please make sure this is the right controller and your is bad..

     Before you buy,please test your other items that could be bad and if you get this and think we sent you a bad one,,remember we don't send out untested items,so its NOT BAD..

You must test your batteries with a multimeter and properly under load,,I don't care if they are new,show fully charged or if you ran the motor direct off the batteries,,that is not going to help determine if they are bad,the motor will run off a 9 volt battery but the controller will not as it has a low cut off inside..So you must test the batteries properly

Each battery should put out 12.8-13.8,total of 25.6 plus..easily..Test it at the big red and black wires going into the controller...If the batteries show less than 11v on each they are VERY weak and possibly dead and sometimes needs removed out of a series and charged separatly with a 2 amp battery charger.

The kill switch could be bad,if your version has one, so you must unplug the kill switch to bypass it,it will run without it hooked up..Bypass means jump the 2 big red power wires together that come from the controller to the on/off switch.

Next is test your motor,,run the batteries direct to the motor to determine if it is bad.

Next is unplug your brake switch,the 3 pin connector with 2 wires inside coming from the brake handle can easy just be unplugged to rule out a very common defective brake switch..
