A small but nicely modelled piece, showing the god of medicine with full beard, wavy hair contained within a diadem, falling over his forehead. His eyes are almond shaped and his lips are full. The marble with a nice, slight polish to the face, the ancient sculptor also employing use of the drill to emphasise the beard. Mounted on a beautiful ebony base.
