SFP adapter for  SFP / SFP+ transceivers optical and ethernet modules. Adapter allows to cloning and (re)programming SFP / SFP+ modules with REVELPROG-IS.

  • Adapter requires REVELPROG-IS programmer to work - it's NOT included (please check our other items on ebay)
  • Work also with protected*   SFP / SFP+ modules (MSA standard).
    • *please note! Since update v1.8.2 (>2020) for REVELPROG-IS there is possibility to write also protected transceivers (if you know manufacturer password). Since version v1.8.2 there is also search password tool which allows in some cases to hack password using brute-force method.     Above transceiver board is simplest version of all our adapters. It has connector (without cage) only for SFP/SFP+. We have also in offer more advanced adapters, e.g. QSFP SFP XFP which supports additionaly QSFP / QSFP+ / QSFP28 and XFP modules, or latest OSFP QSFP-DD SFP-DD adapter which supports new multiline transceivers such as SFP-DD QSFP-DD or OSFP. If you operate only with SFP/SFP+ transceivers and you do not need to have access to logic I/O on external pins then this adapter will be 100% fine.  Please check below table for comparison of all available adapters: .

    With external programmer (REVELPROG-IS) it is possible to read SFP/SFP+ module in MSA standard* (block 0xA0), change configuration area (manufacturer name, part name, serial number, configuration bytes etc.) , calculate checksums and write new config to the module. In this tricky way you can make compatible any SFP/SFP+ not secured or secured (if you have password) ethernet / optical (fiber) transceivers with ethernet device, e.g. buy cheap OEM module, programm it with any manufacturer's config and make compatible with any switch.
