The necklace has an inside circumference of approximately 16 inches and the central lapis piece is approximately 1 inch tall. The smallest necklace pieces are approximately ¼ of an inch at the widest. The matching bracelet is approximately 5/16 of an inch at the widest and 7 inches long. Both have pressure clasps with safety clasps and are marked 980. – a higher quality that 925 sterling. We believe the necklace is from Mexico as the design an materials are typical of early Taxco jewelry. In addition between 1930's and 1940's Mexican silver jewelry was often used higher grade silver with a 980 mark. The bracelet weighs approximately 15 grams and the necklace approximately 40 grams.
