Vintage Bandai Oldsmobile Toronado Battery Op. Tin Toy Car - POP-UP HEADLIGHTS. Vintage 1960's Oldsmobile Toronado Battery Operated Tin Toy Car - Made By Bandai in Japan - Fair overall condition - shows some wear from age - Has a dent in each side of the tin metal body - Missing battery compartment cover - A piece of cardboard must be placed to hold batteries in - Aside from battery cover there are no other missing or broken parts - Some scratches to original gold paint - Nice realistic detail - Motor works - Hidden Headlights turn on and slowly rise until fully open, then lower and turn off when fully shut as they are supposed to - Car moves somewhat, but sometimes gets stuck. Doesn't move as well as it probably should - but headlights work well. - Measures 11 inches long Overall, this is a nice, hard to find tin toy car by Bandai. It is in fair condition but still looks good, and it is modeled after one of the most stylish cars of the time. It also still works more or less. This is a desirable toy car ( its claim to fame being the unusual working pop-up headlamp feature). It will be a great addition to a collection and is a good car for the money. These can usually get quite pricey in better shape. Feel free to ask me any questions about this great toy car.
