the original finish is nearly all intact with only some minor wear on the edges of the key-work and on some touch points, along with other minor surface blemishes - see photos;
Body:
the physical body is in very good condition, no dents and only the mildest ding or two; the bell rim has a couple spots that are slightly flattened (this is hardly noticeable); a few dings have been removed from the back of the body (again, this is not very noticeable); there is no sign of any solder repair;Pads:pads are not new but are in good condition, and the horn plays well (though may need some minor adjustment and regulation) ; new pads would be needed for the horn to play optimally;
the original Buescher Snap-ins are intact, however one or two are missing in the middle stack, and have been replaced with flat metal resonators;
Further:no mouthpiece;later period hard shell case functions well and is in excellent condition.
