Vintage Casio Crystal Pocket Television TV-30 with Original Box and Accessories

Up for sale is a very nice Casio TV-30 miniature television.  I am guessing it is from the 1980s.  It still powers up either with the AC adaptor or with batteries and attempts to get a signal.  I am assuming it has some difficulty do to the changes with high definition signals that are digital now days.  I am not an expert on signals.  I am guessing that it may only need an adaptor or connected to a different antenna.  Also, I tested here in my shop in the basement, so maybe it needs to be in a lesser confined area.  I believe it would pick up an analog signal with no problem where available.

All I know about the item is what is printed on the box and in the user's manual, which is included along with an original accessory order card.  Please see the photos.  The printing on the box reads, "Casio Liquid Crystal Pocket Televison TV-30, 3-inch (indicating the width of the viewing screen, which is actually just under 3 inches, approximately 2.75 inches) American Standard IM-VHF System, Simulated TV pictue, (referring to the pictue of the football game on the box)  This product, Model B, is tuned for American standard M-VHF system.  The TV-30 model B is tuned for American standard M-VHF system which is adoped in the following countries:  Antigua, Bahamas, Batbados, Bermuda, Brazil, Burma, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Tamaica, Kampurchea, Korea, Mexico, Micronesia, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Phillipines, Puerto Rico, Surinam, Taiwan, Trinidad, and Tobago, USA, Venezuela. 

On the reverse side of the box it includes the options that were available to purchase with this modle and what comes with it.  This product came with the standard accessories meaning it can use batteries, came with earphones, which are included in the photos and have never been opened, a soft case, which is also included in the photos along with an AC adaptor.  It does not have a black light, a rechargeable batter pack or a car adaptor.  Again, this is all I know about the product other than it powers up and comes with the soft case, earphones and an AC adaptor.  It doesn't appear that this television has ever been used to any extent.  It has shows no signs of wear or abuse and has the original box as well as the fact that the ear plug has never been opened or used.  The box is in fairly good condition considering its age.  Please see the photos.  The box is missing a few flaps, but it still closes and I am not sure, but it may have had some foam inserts that were molded to fit the item that are missing.  It is safe to assume the item was gently used and well-cared for with storage considering the condition of the box and the condition of the accessories as the earplug is unopened and the AC adaptor is also in its original box.  Please see photos.  Please feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer.

You are purchasing this product as is based on my description and I do not accept returns.  I have also made note of the serial number for my records.  I have seen other similar items selling here on eBay in terrible condition without the original box for between 10 and 25 dollars US.  Again, I do not accept returns since I sold my Olympus Digital Camera that was like new with the original battery and memory chip and got back a different camera all scratched up missing a battery and a memory chip.  So, if you are thinking of making a switch, please go somewhere else.  I only wish to deal with honest buyers who want to deal with honest sellers. 

This item weighs approximately 1.6 pounds so it will have to be shipped USPS Priority Mail.  USPS Priority mail includes tracking and $50.00 insurance.  I practice safe shipping, so this item will be secured in bubble wrap inside its original box and the box itself secured in bubble wrap and then placed in a box of appropriate size with packing material to keep it from being jarred during shipping.  I will ship this item USPS Priority Mail for $8.99.  Please check out my other items as I am always willing to combine shipping to save you money.
