4 Vintage Mexican Talavera Folk Art Pottery Hand Painted Signed Wall Hanging Plates.

These 10" plates are awesome. The color is still vibrant and the glaze is very sharp.

The art on the plates are all different although they look similar.  

They give off a great wall presentation.

No chips, dings or scratches whatsoever.

That these plates are made by artisans is very evident in the irregularity of the plates.  Look at the pictures of the back of some of the plates and you will see imperfections from the factory.

Where the holes were placed to insert the string or wire for  hanging is obviously hand done.

Also there are some places on the back where the hand applied glaze from the kiln is not applied evenly.

I took a couple close-ups.

Using FedEx if cheaper than USPS.
