This Porcelain miniature baby doll comes from a collection of more than 250 miniature dollhouse dolls collected from France to Australia between 1960's through the 1990's by one very special miniature collector.  She traveled to miniature and doll shows around the world.  They have all been carefully stored since 1993 and some others were discovered in 2003.

 

This tiny baby is only 2" long and was created by Marree Massey of Australia. From the early 1990's, she's just a tiny baby girl, wearing a tiny crocheted one piece with a jacket, bonnet and booties.  Each piece has silk ribbon embroidery.  Under her little onsie is a little white cloth diaper.  Her head is stationary but her arms and legs are jointed.  Brown sculpted, painted eyes, a tiny sculpted nose and little lips.  She is in search of a forever home. Marie Massey Dolls, especially the miniature ones from the early 1990's are very hard to find.
