BAKELITE ERA FIGURAL PIN BROOCH GARDEN HAND SHOVEL TROWEL CARVED PAINTED w WOOD

Colorful large figural bakelite era pin / brooch:

~ Bottom mimics bakelite apple juice - but does not test as such.  Bound to be a  very close relative (and just as desirable) such as French bakelite, goliath, catalin, lucite, celluloid or similar highly collectible transparent vintage material.

AGE OR ERA:  I am  broadly  guessing this to be 1920's to 1940's in age - most  likely 1930's

MARKINGS:  None that I could find

TESTING:  Tested negative for bakelite with  both  the rub and  smell and Simichrome methods

MEASUREMENTS:   Aprox 3 3/4" long x 1 1/4" wide

CONDITION:  Great vintage condition - no damage or quirks that I could find to mention.  Genuine authentic vintage item with the unique charm and characteristics of pre-loved jewelry in an excellent state of conservation.
