Hello!  Up for auction here is a vintage/antique, hand painted mask from India.  This is my first rodeo with masks and these are amazing, (I say these because I have five other masks like this up for auction at the moment!) This mask is of a demonic deity with large horns, a large red nose and fang space.   Mask measures 10" from top to bottom and 7" ear to ear.    There isn't as much flaked paint on this mask and his intricate designs hold true with a black base, red key points and yellow, green and pink accents.   There are some minor tears around perimeter of mask and one larger tear on the top of his head from being a bit squished.  He is a little dusty from storage but I did not want to clean him and flake off more paint of so I left him as is. Very cool piece of art and history.  If you have knowledge of these types of masks, you wish to share, that would be greatly appreciated. Don't forget there are five other masks up for auction.
