Service Records are available online, John Pollock served as a Sapper with the 3rd Field Company New Zealand Engineers, Wounded in Action (Gassed) on Sept 1, 1916, Wounded in Action Remaining on Duty on June 1, 1917, and Gassed again on June 7, 1917.
