Please meet Gordie, a gorgeous and large limited edition Merrythought Teddy Prince Charlie Teddy bear from England!  He just has his foot label and side label, and he is number 205 of an edition of 1,000, produced in 1989.  He is made of a dark chocolaty brown mohair that in perfect condition.  He has large brown eyes and a black stitched nose and mouth.  His paw pads are tan wool felt with four-claw stitching on each paw.  He wears a dark red Janie and Jack bulldog bow tie.  He is medium stuffed and totally huggable.  He is five-way jointed and in excellent, pristine condition.  Gordie is 17 inches tall and weighs 1 pound, 6 ounces.  Could he be the one for you???  He is looking for a home where he can always have a friendly cheeky chinwag with your other British bears! Please note:   Upon payment, I ship the next business day.    Whenever possible, my items will now be sent out USPS Ground Advantage, which is much less expensive than Priority Mail, but slightly slower, by a day or two.   Occasionally I use my personal discounted FedEx account as well for larger, heavier items.  If you'd like me to send something Priority, please let me know.                    With regret, I am downsizing my teddy bear collection.   I have many different types, which I will be listing in the coming weeks (or months or maybe even years).   For the most part, I relist all the bears that don't get adopted the first time around on the last Saturday of the month.  I live in a smoke-free home, but I do have cats who are barred from the bear room and bunny room(!).  Names, names, names:  If I'm listing an animal crafted by an artist, sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances (don't ask), I do not know his or her proper name.  I simply rename them using my own imagination (which is admittedly quite active).  This is not a slight to the talented artist who created them or meant to confuse the collector...just a way to give them a bit of personality and to have a little fun!   (Feel free to change their name and protect the innocent!) A quick note about shipping:    Don't you hate it when you're overcharged by a seller on shipping????   A gazillion dollars to cross the pond or go across the country.  It's ridiculous.   I am striving to be accurate in my listing, but sometimes ebay's calculator is way off (especially for those outside the U.S.).   When i calculate shipping, I add in extra weight for the box.    If you're interested in an item outside the U.S., don't be scared by what the calculator is telling you.   Please contact me and I'll find out exactly what it would cost to post to your country and make a note in the listing.  I'll never overcharge you.   If I quote you a number and i can get it to you cheaper, I'll immediately refund the difference.    Please note I am not an expert in teddy bears...I am only downsizing.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
