The Edwardian Princess Cut Recepton Gown sewing pattern is an original Past Patterns design ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Past Patterns princess cut reception gown sewing pattern is deceivingly simple.

The complicated construction is due to the Valencienne lace overlay being encrusted with heavy needlework lace below the knees, large silk embroidery, appliques at the waist, sleeves and skirt and organza trim at the neck, wrist and hem. Then the petticoat/lining of silk taffeta is attached at the waist and back edges.

The dress fastens up the back with hooks and eyes and the skirt hem is finished with several rows of ruffles. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This pattern is Multi-sized 10-16 Size 10 Bust 33” Waist 25 ½” Back Length 15 ¾” Size 12 Bust 34 ¾” Waist 27” Back Length 16” Size 14 Bust 36 ¼” Waist 28 ½” Back Length 16 1/8” Size 16 Bust 37 ¾” Waist 30 ¼” Back Length 16 3/8” ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabric Requires Bottom Weight Silk Taffeta for Petticoat/Lining Sizes 10-12 use 5-1/3 Yds.
